Already owning one of these and having wanted and additional two for my benchmark project. This graphics card is amazing it tears through games like BF3 like a hot knife through butter. I've even SLI'd it with a buddies Classified and together they get over 70 FPS on maxed out ULTRA settings on 5760x1080 (triple monitor)However Amazon really made me sad this weekend, read on:On Friday I ordered 2 GTX 580 Ultra's. Newegg however at the same time had the cards for $80 less than amazon. That's right $600 for these babies. I canceled my orders with amazon only to realize that I could not cancel one of my 2 cards ordered ( on two separate visa's) then realizing that newegg was not going to be able to deliver on Saturday anyhow I decided to just reorder the one card that had successfully canceled. This is were the sad day starts.Amazon apparently had put a pending charge on my card even though the order was canceled before it was "ready to ship" which is when Amazon normally charges you. Then through a bunch of hoops I ended up getting both the bank and amazon on the phone to figure this pending charge issue out as that specific card did not have enough limit left to place TWO charges for $700.Finally after 2 hours on the phone Amazon claimed that the authorization the bank had put through was satisfactory and that my graphics card would ship. I even have a confirmation email saying the payment was authorized and my card would ship on the 16th arriving on the 17th. (along with my other original order)So 5PM rolls around and I noticed only the first card has shipped, then bam a message on amazon (not my email) saying that I need re enter my payment information. So I call them up and they tell me that the payment is fine that it's just a glitch in the system and not to worry that my card will still arrive on the 17th. I tell them to double check the order number as I had two cards on order and only one shows shipped, they reassure me that it's fine and will ship.Then 7PM rolls around and another message pops up and this time the rep says its fine and that I will receive the card on the 20th, I tell them that is NOT ok. I ordered these online with one day shipping because I NEEDED them this Weekend. Instead I am now being told only one card will arrive on time and am no out the option to buy the 2nd card locally because they have tied up my funds.So I tell them to cancel both orders and I that I am very upset about the reps lying to me. They claim that the reps will call me back to apologize and rectify the situation (which they didnt) and that they will intercept the graphics card at their local facility and cancel the order so I can have my money back by Tuesday. This does not happen instead I must now return their product to them which costs me time and gas.So in the end I am out the weekend for my computer project, am out $1400, and have to waste my time shipping their product back to them.I am used to so much better from you amazon, of my years doing business with you; never have I been so disappointed.I hate to post this under a review for such a great card, but there is no "review amazon" transactions "page"I hate to post this under a review for such a great card, but there is no "review amazon" transactions "page"
