Best Review: LaCie Network Space Max 4 TB Gigabit Ethernet USB 2.0 Network Attached Storage 301524KUA - The hardware is great, though it took longer than I expected to mount it on our family LAN. After some tweaking over the first week I had it, it runs fine. The one thing that irritated me was the Genie back up manager that came with the drive. After getting the drive set up and running, I went through the process of setting up back ups only to find that the version would not work on a network and was funtional only for the single computer to which it was attached. As a result, I had to shell out another $70 for the pro version. If all I wanted was a back up drive for my PC I could have paid half as much for a WD drive.
