Best Review: Brand New, and Factory Sealed +++ Dell U2713HM 27-inch 2560x1440 Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor with LED and 3-Year Warranty [Dell PN: U2713HM] - Excellent display visually, except for one annoying factor: when the screen is entirely filled with ca 18pt type (approx. 55 lines of it), there is a high-pitched audible whine coming from its electronics. I work in a very quiet room, so maybe people in noisier environments don't notice, but if you cherish silence, this is not for you.If you then slightly change the zoom you can hear the pitch change -- ca 3500 Hz.I complained to Dell and they replaced the unit, but the second one has the same problem, so it's a design flaw in this "Revision A00".For people aiming towards a silent pc, this is a disappointing problem, so I thought I'd point it out -- maybe if more people complain about it, it'll get fixed in the next revision! ...
