Best Review: BenQ EP5920 Plug 'n Play 1080P Home Theater Projector (Silver/black) - First of all, this is a great projector. I use it ceiling-mounted in a low-light home theater setting and it performs exactly as expected on a 100" screen. The reason this projector doesn't seem to win anyone over is because it seems to be sitting in between markets. It seems like a lot of the people that are buying this expect it to perform well in their living room, but it doesn't. This projector is most suitable for low-light settings. If the room is not dark, is is very possible that you will see "rainbow effects" or that the projector will not be as vibrant as expected.I'd recommend that you use the "cinema" preset with the "brilliant color" feature off for the most accurate colors. The product has an IR receiver on both the top (or underside, if it's ceiling mounted) and the front of it providing good IR reception.I'd argue that the reviews on Newegg are more representative of the quality of the product.
